Traditional ropang with home made jam. Awesome traditional kopi susu and all from Bangka. This kopitiam has its 1st outlet in Jakarta and it started since 1938. Worth a try for their traditinal style. Opt for their bread with jam and their coffee as its their star item in the menu.

Excited about having another traditional coffee shop open here in Jakarta. Competition is stiff in traditional kopitiam scene, but I will say Tung Tau brought something on the table. Great traditional style roti bakar. I ordered iced kopi susu and banana-chocolate-cheese roti. Roti bakar is nicely made and fragrant, I will come back for this roti alone. One word though, iced coffee in traditional coffee shop usually feels like it is diluted and not as strong as the hot counterpart, and iced kopi susu in Tung Tau is no different. If you prefer your coffee thick and strong, get hot one. Overall, I had pleasant experience in Tung Tau and will definitely come back for another try.
